1. How can I open an account?
Opening an account is very easy. Just click here and fill out the special form to instantly register an account.
2. Is there any age limit?
You must be over 18 years.
3. Do you restrict residents from specific countries from opening an account?
No we do not. However, accounts from countries that fall under a higher than average risk factor, might have limits other than the standard. Also we do not do business with countries under UN trading embargo or OFAC sanctions (Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, N. Korea, Burma (Myanmar), Liberia, Sudan, Syria, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, etc).
4. What happens when I signup for an account?
When you sign up for an e-wallet account at Paxum you will instantly have access to the members area of your account in order to start using it
5. What is the difference between unverified and verified accounts?
When you signup for an account with Paxum, your account is unverified by default. Unverified accounts have limits on transactions they can perform.
Under different international laws and know your customer rules we are required to identify all our clients. In order to verify your account and obtain higher transaction and withdrawal limit please send us a photo id that clearly states your name, date of birth and place of issue via your online account management interface or by fax.
6. Can I open Paxum accounts for my friends, family, employees or affiliates?
Paxum Business account holders have the power to open accounts for their employees or affiliates. Personal account holders can send an invitation email to their friends or family so they open the account themselves.
2. Current Account Questions
1. What is a current account?
Current account is similar to checking account at your bank. All incoming funds are first credited to your current account by default (except when adding funds directly to your Paxum Card Account). When you try to send money to other users, withdraw money to your bank account or perform other transfers, all funds will be taken from your current account. This is the main e-wallet account free of charge
2. What can I do with money in my current account?

Personal Account Holders can:
  • Send money to other Paxum users.
  • Transfer funds to your Paxum Card Account to use by your Paxum Card.
  • Withdraw funds directly to your bank account.
  • Withdraw funds by issuing a check by mail.


Business Accounts can do the following in addition to Personal Accounts:
  • Send out mass payments to other Paxum account holders.
  • Send out mass wires to your affiliates or vendors.
  • Create personal accounts for your affiliates and employees (Mass account issue is available).
3. Is money from current account available for withdrawal from my Paxum Card?
The card is only available to approved members in a payroll environment. Funds transferred to your account are not automatically placed on your card. Keeping in mind that our limits are much higher than what the competition offers, we allow you to decide on what amount you wish to transfer to the card at any time, instantly.
4. What currencies can I open the account in?
The default currency is US dollars (USD) for both your main account and the Paxum card account (optional). Other currencies are available upon request.
5. Can I send somebody money in another currency?
Yes you can. The conversion rate will be set by our bank based on the FOREX exchange rates.
3. Adding Funds Questions
1. How can I load money to my current account?
You can load your account with funds via certified check or wire transfer. You can load your account by receiving money from other Paxum account holders as well.
2. How can I load money to my Paxum card account?
The funds you receive as part of a corporation's payroll can be transferred from your current account to the Paxum card using our 'transfer funds among your accounts' function.
4. Withdrawal / Transfer Questions
1. Where and how can I withdraw money in my current account?
The funds you receive as part of a corporation's payroll will be deposited in your current account. From there you can move them to your optional Paxum card, and withdraw them at any ATM or POS location worldwide anywhere Mastercard is accepted. You may also use one of our other flexible withdrawal methods, such as Wire transfer, ACH/EFT where applicable or check.
2. How can I withdraw money in my Paxum card account?
Users eligible to receive the Paxum card as part of a payroll program may withdraw their funds at any MasterCard merchant, ATM or POS.
3. Who can I transfer money from my current account?
You can send money to other Paxum account holders.

Personal account: holders can also send checks or wire transfers.

Business Account: account holders can send money to their bank account as well as send checks and wires (including Mass transfers) to other parties.
5. Paxum Card Account Questions
1. What is a Paxum card account?
A Paxum card will be issued for eligible Paxum account holders and can only be used in a payroll environment. The Paxum card account will be connected to your Paxum account and you will be able to transfer your funds to the card.
2. How much does it cost to issue a Paxum card?
Your Paxum card will be issued under your name free of charge. Please see our fees table for more details.
3. Where can I use your Paxum card?
Our Paxum Card is accepted anywhere MasterCard is accepted. You can make transactions online or go to a store and make signature based purchases just like you would do with any other regular MasterCard card. You can also use your Paxum Card to withdraw money from any ATM around the world.
4. I forgot my PIN CODE, what do I do?
Please log in to your account and go to - My Account - Profile and select Paxum Card management in order to change your PIN
5. I found unauthorized charges on my Paxum card. What should I do?

Absolutely. Your card can be used anywhere just like any other full MasterCard card.

The funds you receive as part of a corporation's payroll can be transferred from your current account to the Paxum card using our 'transfer funds among your accounts' function.
9.How Do I add and verify my Paxum Card in Paypal?
Once you add your Paxum Card to Paypal, within 2 business days you will see a transaction from paypal in your Paxum Card Statement in your Paxum Account. The transaction will look like PP*xxxxCODE, where XXXX is the code that you need to enter on Paypal's website for verification.
